## What it does

This skill runs local shell scripts to inspect Jenkinsfiles and Groovy shared libraries inside `vars/` or `src/`. It detects whether a pipeline is declarative (`pipeline {`) or scripted (`node {`), runs syntax rules, and scans code for hardcoded credentials.

Under the hood, `validate_jenkinsfile.sh` orchestrates dedicated checkers like `validate_declarative.sh` and `common_validation.sh`. Ambiguous files can be forced with `--assume-declarative` or `--assume-scripted`, while `--strict` turns warnings into fatal exit code 1 failures.

Running these checks requires standard Unix tools: `bash`, `grep`, `sed`, `awk`, `head`, `wc`, and `find`. Without them, the orchestrator halts with exit code 2. Optional tool `jq` is supported for JSON-heavy troubleshooting.

## Prerequisites

Run commands from repository root unless noted.
