## What it does

This skill owns the participation format. It designs the mechanic, the questions and options, the copy, and the plan for feeding results back to the audience. The work follows the REACT framework: a reason to participate, an effortless first tap, a specific ask, a closed loop, then responses turned into content and audience signals. Before drafting, it reads `brand-profile`, `audience-research` and `voice-builder` so the ask sounds like the brand.

The split is deliberate. The agent designs and drafts; the human adds native elements in-app — poll, quiz, question, slider and Add-Yours stickers, plus live AMAs. WoopSocial cannot attach stickers, auto-DM voters or read sticker results, so a person reads them and reports back. WoopSocial publishes the feed-post versions.

Hard limits apply. Results must never be fabricated or rigged, questions and accounts never astroturfed, quiz facts never invented. Sharing someone's answer needs consent first, because question boxes are not anonymous. Contests and giveaways follow platform promotion rules and local law, verified by the human. Participation is never guaranteed.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add social-media-skills/skills --skill interactive-content -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/interactive-content/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/interactive-content/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add social-media-skills/skills --skill interactive-content -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/interactive-content/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add social-media-skills/skills --skill interactive-content -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/interactive-content/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install social-media-skills/skills interactive-content
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/interactive-content/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add social-media-skills/skills --skill interactive-content -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/social-media-skills/skills --path skills/interactive-content
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/interactive-content/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add social-media-skills/skills --skill interactive-content -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/social-media-skills/skills/tree/HEAD/skills/interactive-content/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- design a poll that isn't filler
- write a quiz with a teaching payoff and true facts
- scope an AMA to one topic so questions stay useful
- escalate from a one-tap poll to a question box
- turn responses into a follow-up series and audience insight

## Example prompts
- Design a feed poll comparing two product features, using the REACT framework
- Write a five-question quiz with a teaching payoff plus the post copy
- Plan a scoped AMA about our stack and tell me which stickers to add in-app

  The participation content format — polls, quizzes, Q&A / scoped AMAs, this-or-that, emoji sliders,
  question boxes, caption-this, Add-Yours, and challenges. Use when someone wants interactive posts,
  Story stickers, a poll/quiz/AMA, a challenge or contest, or to turn passive scrollers into
  participants. Low-friction taps are high-value algorithmic signals, and every interaction doubles as
  audience research. Uses the REACT framework. Reads brand-profile + audience-research + voice-builder
  first. The agent designs the mechanic, questions, copy, and the close-the-loop plan; the HUMAN adds
  native interactive elements in-app — stickers and live AMAs are NATIVE-ONLY (WoopSocial cannot attach
  stickers or read results); WoopSocial publishes the feed-post versions. NEVER fabricates or rigs
  results or fakes participation; consent before sharing anyone's answer. Distinct from
  community-management, reply-and-comment-writer, livestream-and-realtime, and ugc-and-influencer.

# interactive-content

The **participation format** — give a reason to participate, make the first tap effortless, ask something
specific, close the loop, and turn responses into content + insight. The agent designs the mechanic; the **human
adds native stickers in-app**; **WoopSocial publishes** the feed-post versions. (Every interaction doubles as
audience research.)

## The POV: participation beats consumption — but only if the ask does a job
A poll takes one tap; a quiz feels like a game; a slider expresses nuance without typing — and platforms treat
those taps as **high-value engagement signals** that compound reach. But most interactive content is **filler**
("coffee or tea?") that audiences ignore, because the ask does a job for the brand's metrics and nothing for the
participant. The top-1% moves: **(1) every ask does a job for the audience** — involve them in a real decision,
name a relatable struggle, open a genuine debate, or teach through play; **(2) scope the AMA** — "ask me anything
about [topic]" filters for quality where a bare AMA stalls; **(3) the loop is the value** — share results back,
answer publicly (with permission), and batch answers into a series; an unclosed loop teaches people that
participating does nothing; **(4) every result is a micro-survey** that feeds the content pipeline — honestly
