## What it does

This is a diagnosis system, not another content skill. The agent loads `brand-profile.md`, `social-strategy.md` and `audience.md`, pulls the goal (reach, follows, leads) and the current state from WoopSocial post analytics plus native Instagram Insights — non-follower reach, profile visits, follows and watch time live only in Insights. Then it locates the broken stage of the loop: reach, follow-conversion, retention and sends, or sustainability.

Three ideas drive the model. Instagram is a discovery engine rather than a follower feed, so most reach comes from non-followers through Reels and Explore and has to be earned post by post. Watch time and sends-per-reach are the signals that matter, with DM shares worth several times more than likes for reaching new people. And every surface runs its own algorithm: Reels for discovery, feed for followers, Stories for retention.

When reach is the problem, the skill hands off to `reels-script` and `hook-writer` and flags the eligibility gates: original video, no TikTok watermark, audio present, within the length cap, clear niche. High views with few follows point at the profile, so `profile-optimization` takes over. It refuses fake engagement and promises no viral guarantees — follower count is treated as vanity, and the numbers worth watching are reach, sends, saves and profile visits.

# Instagram Growth

This is the Instagram-specific **growth system** — not another content skill. It diagnoses *where*
growth is stuck and routes to the skills that fix it, on top of the 2026 reality of how Instagram
actually distributes content.

Three truths shape everything:

1. **Instagram is a discovery engine, not a follower feed.** ~94% of distribution is AI
   recommendations; most reach comes from **non-followers** via **Reels and Explore**. Reach is
   earned per post — **follower count is a vanity number.**
2. **Watch time and sends drive reach.** The top signals are watch time (the first ~3 seconds decide
   a Reel) and **sends-per-reach** (DM shares), which are **~3–5× more valuable than likes** for
   reaching new people. Strong hook + send-worthy content = travel.
3. **Each surface has its own algorithm.** Reels = discovery, Feed = followers, Stories = retention,
   Explore = discovery. Match the format to the surface's signal.

## Step 0 — Read the foundation + the current state

Load `brand-profile.md`, `social-strategy.md`, `audience.md`. Get the **goal** (reach / follows /
leads) and the **current state** from WoopSocial post analytics (views, impressions, saves, shares, likes) plus native
Insights for non-follower reach, profile visits, follows, and watch time — those are not stored
in WoopSocial. Never fabricate.
