## What it does

The workflow separates novel production across dedicated agents: story outlining, chapter writing, deterministic rule checks, narrative audits, and targeted revisions. The underlying system manages emotional arcs, character relation matrices, subplots, and style profiles imported from reference texts.

Operation depends on Node.js 20.0.0 or higher and a global install of `@actalk/inkos`. Missing an LLM API key inside `~/.inkos/config.json` will halt the pipeline whenever an agent invokes generation.

Validation happens in two stages. First, a deterministic validator checks eleven surface rules without model calls. Next, an auditor inspects 33 narrative dimensions, including canon consistency and pacing, triggering automatic fixes or rewrites when issues emerge.
