## What it does

This skill runs after a send, not before. You hand it a seed-list placement test (inbox vs spam vs promotions for Gmail, Outlook/Microsoft, Yahoo, Apple), a Gmail Postmaster Tools export, a Microsoft SNDS export, and a prior send baseline. It returns a per-provider placement read, a reputation trend with direction and number, and a send-over-send delta that names each regression.

Every metric gets a provenance label: Measured, User-provided or Estimated. A provider with no export is marked NEEDS_INPUT instead of passing by default. The placement snapshot is written to `memory/email/inbox-placement-monitor/`, and regressions get promoted to `memory/hot-cache.md` and `memory/open-loops.md`.

Scope is deliberately narrow. The pre-send SPF/DKIM/DMARC check belongs to deliverability-qa, and the EQS score with its S1/S2/N1/D1 vetoes belongs to email-quality-auditor. When a regression traces back to authentication or reputation, this skill hands off rather than guessing. So it pays off when you actually have a fresh Postmaster or SNDS export — without one, part of the picture never forms.

- trend domain and IP reputation from Postmaster and SNDS
- catch a rising complaint rate before it crosses the threshold
- keep a placement snapshot for the next send
