## What it does

The skill enforces a two-stage development routine for the ClaudeBar codebase. Before any Swift code is produced, the agent must check the architecture documentation, locate module boundaries, update the markdown design specs, and draft an ASCII diagram detailing component interactions. Implementation cannot begin until the developer approves the proposed design.

Once approved, development follows strict TDD. Tests drive models in Quotas, Providers, and Domain, followed by generic rules in DataSources and SwiftUI views that bind straight to domain types. Persisted choices must go through `JSONSettingsRepository`, while sensitive credentials route exclusively through the Keychain store.

When code conflicts with design documents, the skill dictates updating the docs first rather than bending the architecture to existing code.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add tddworks/ClaudeBar --skill implement-feature -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/implement-feature/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/implement-feature/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add tddworks/ClaudeBar --skill implement-feature -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/implement-feature/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add tddworks/ClaudeBar --skill implement-feature -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/implement-feature/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install tddworks/ClaudeBar implement-feature
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/implement-feature/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add tddworks/ClaudeBar --skill implement-feature -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/tddworks/ClaudeBar --path .claude/skills/implement-feature
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/implement-feature/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add tddworks/ClaudeBar --skill implement-feature -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/tddworks/ClaudeBar/tree/HEAD/.claude/skills/implement-feature/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- Structure new app features before writing implementation code
- Map component dependencies and data flows using ASCII diagrams
- Build Swift domain models and DataSources modules using TDD
- Connect SwiftUI views straight to domain models without intermediate glue

## Example prompts
- Add a new account quota feature and draft the architecture diagram
- How do I implement provider detection in ClaudeBar?
- Design a capability extension for quota monitoring using TDD

  Guide for implementing features in ClaudeBar following architecture-first design, TDD, rich domain models, and Swift 6.2 patterns. Use this skill when:
  (1) Adding new functionality to the app
  (2) Creating domain models that follow user's mental model
  (3) Building SwiftUI views that consume domain models directly
  (4) User asks "how do I implement X" or "add feature Y"
  (5) Implementing any feature that spans modules (DataSources, Providers, Quotas) and the App

# Implement Feature in ClaudeBar

Implement features using architecture-first design, TDD, rich domain models, and Swift 6.2 patterns.

## Workflow Overview

```
┌─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┐
│  1. ARCHITECTURE DESIGN (Required - User Approval Needed)  │
├─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┤
│  • Read the design docs — they are the source of truth     │
│  • Place the feature: owner, capability, extension point    │
│  • Write the design change into the docs first              │
│  • Analyze requirements                                     │
│  • Present to user for review                               │
