## What it does

This skill acts as a presentation director. It turns raw transcripts, meeting notes, and research into an audience-state-transfer (AST) narrative arc. Instead of producing final slide graphics, it writes `deck_brief.md`, `ast_outline.md`, and `slide_plan.json`. Each slide receives an explicit media decision: an image, an SVG diagram, a Remotion video, or plain text. The brief is then passed to external rendering tools like `ppt-master` for native PPTX or `frontend-slides` for HTML.

Once slides are rendered, the skill reviews them via `--qa-from`. It checks each slide against the outline to identify pages that lack substance or break the narrative flow. Each round outputs `qa_report.md` and `fix_prompt.md`. Auditing stops after 3 iterations. If problems persist after the third pass, the status flips to `needs-human`.

Humanize PPT cannot parse binary presentation files directly. If you want to refine an existing deck, extract its text with `scripts/pptx_qa.py` first and feed the text in with `--source`.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add LearnPrompt/humanize-ppt --skill humanize-ppt -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/humanize-ppt/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/humanize-ppt/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add LearnPrompt/humanize-ppt --skill humanize-ppt -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/humanize-ppt/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add LearnPrompt/humanize-ppt --skill humanize-ppt -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/humanize-ppt/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install LearnPrompt/humanize-ppt humanize-ppt
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/humanize-ppt/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add LearnPrompt/humanize-ppt --skill humanize-ppt -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/LearnPrompt/humanize-ppt
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/humanize-ppt/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add LearnPrompt/humanize-ppt --skill humanize-ppt -a opencode
```

## When to use it
- structure raw notes and transcripts into a spoken presentation outline
- assign media slots like diagrams, images, and videos per slide
- generate production briefs for HTML and PPTX rendering engines
- run automated quality audits on rendered slide decks before a talk

## Example prompts
- Create an AST outline and media plan from `--source notes.md`
- Run a presentation checkup on `deck.pptx` using `humanize-ppt --qa-from deck.pptx`
- Generate a production brief for `frontend-slides` based on `transcript.txt`

  A presentation system for agent-made PPTs — born for the talk, not just the
  template. It turns raw material into an AST (audience-state-transfer) outline
  with per-page visual-enhancement decisions (image / SVG diagram / video),
  hands a production brief to a downstream renderer (HTML-PPT skills or native
  PPTX), then runs a capped 3-round presentation checkup (演讲体检) on the
  rendered deck. It never renders slides itself. Use before generating
  PPT/HTML slides from raw material, and after rendering when the user says
  things like "给这份 deck 做演讲体检" or "PPT 渲染质检". If all you want is
  one beautiful template page with no outline and no checkup, a rendering
  skill alone is enough.

# Humanize PPT

Use this skill when a user wants to turn raw material, notes, voice transcripts, documents, or links into a presentation-ready outline and per-page media decisions before delegating rendering to a downstream skill. Old PPT/PPTX files are not read directly: extract their text first (see `scripts/pptx_qa.py`'s dump/inspect output), then feed that text in as `--source`. A deck Humanize PPT already rendered goes through `--qa-from <rendered.pptx>` instead — the presentation checkup, not brief mode.
