## What it does

The skill walks the agent through four steps: SSH into the DevServer, check NPU health, deploy the model, then monitor the node. A model catalog sits in the middle and picks the right deploy script for the model you name, so you don't hand-write the launch command. Single-machine and dual-machine setups are both covered.

Inference testing is built in and split by model type: chat for LLMs, multimodal prompts for VL, separate checks for Embedding and Rerank. Deployment logs and status come from the same place, which saves a trip into the box.

Hardware is the hard limit. Only 910B1, 910B2, 910B3 and 910B4 are supported; on 910A, 310 or 310P the deploy won't run. Check `npu-smi info` first if a deployment stalls. The skill also doesn't work alone — SSH and NPU checks belong to the companion skills `huawei-cloud-ascend-remote-connect` and `huawei-cloud-ascend-command`, and the agent calls them in order.
