## What it does

Everything runs off the base `https://60s.viki.moe/v2`, with one GET route per platform: `/v2/weibo`, `/v2/zhihu`, `/v2/baidu/hot`, `/v2/douyin`, `/v2/toutiao` and `/v2/bili`. The agent calls the route with `requests` or `curl` and gets JSON: a `data` array of items, each carrying a title, a link and a rank. Weibo entries also include a `热度` field.

The README ships Python snippets for the usual jobs — pull the top five from one platform, build a two-platform daily digest, line up the first entries side by side, or grep the titles for a keyword. There is also a starter for finding shared words with `Counter`. Feeds refresh every few minutes, and the README suggests caching results for 5–10 minutes so you are not hammering the endpoint.

Error handling is left to you. The samples wrap calls in a bare `except`, so on a flaky connection a platform quietly returns nothing. Write your own retry or timeout if missing data matters.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add vikiboss/60s-skills --skill hot-topics -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/hot-topics/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/hot-topics/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add vikiboss/60s-skills --skill hot-topics -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/hot-topics/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add vikiboss/60s-skills --skill hot-topics -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/hot-topics/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install vikiboss/60s-skills hot-topics
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/hot-topics/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add vikiboss/60s-skills --skill hot-topics -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/vikiboss/60s-skills --path skills/hot-topics
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/hot-topics/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add vikiboss/60s-skills --skill hot-topics -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/vikiboss/60s-skills/tree/HEAD/skills/hot-topics/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- check what is topping Weibo right now
- line up the number one topic across several Chinese platforms
- spot keywords shared by titles from different feeds
- test whether a subject is trending on Baidu or Zhihu
- assemble a short daily digest of hot news

## Example prompts
- Show me the top 5 trending topics on Weibo
- Compare the number one item on Baidu, Zhihu and Douyin
- Search the Bilibili trending titles for the word AI

### Get Weibo Hot Searches

```python
import requests
def get_weibo_hot():
    response = requests.get('https://60s.viki.moe/v2/weibo')
    return response.json()
hot_topics = get_weibo_hot()
        'baidu': 'https://60s.viki.moe/v2/baidu/hot',
        'douyin': 'https://60s.viki.moe/v2/douyin',
        'bili': 'https://60s.viki.moe/v2/bili'
    }
    results = {}
    for name, url in platforms.items():
        try:
            response = requests.get(url)
            results[name] = response.json()
        except:
            results[name] = None
