## What it does

homepage-generator is a compatibility entry. Homepage construction is maintained in Pagina, inside the page-builder skill's Homepage reference. The old package carries no page rules of its own.

If you installed it earlier, it will not build anything for you. You want page-builder instead: `npx skills add kostja94/pagina --skill page-builder`. Then ask the agent to build a new homepage with page-builder.

Installing homepage-generator still works — the marketplace commands are live. But it is a dead end, since the package only points at its successor. Worth checking whether your project pulls the old skill under the name `home`, because that is the handle most editors install it with.

## When to use it
- find out where homepage construction moved
- swap the deprecated skill for the current page-builder
- get the install command for the successor package
- figure out why the `home` skill generates nothing
- drop an unmaintained dependency from a project
