It writes `.groove/memory/monthly/YYYY-MM.md` with three parts: recurring themes, the completions and milestones that mattered, and the patterns drawn across the month. Raw detail stays in the daily files; the output is the summary. It reads and edits files, searches them (`Read Write Edit Glob Grep`), can run git and ask you a question. An existing monthly file gets updated in place instead of replaced. Memory always lives under `.groove/memory/`, and the file layout comes from `skills/groove-utilities-memory-log-monthly/templates/monthly.md`. Run it on the last weekday of the month, or when you ask for it directly.
