## What it does

\`grimoire` gives an agent a working procedure for Grimoire, from CLI setup and `.spell` authoring to `format`, `compile`, `validate`, `simulate`, `cast`, and `resume`. It points syntax and flag work to bundled reference files, with separate guidance for advisory decisions and replay runs.

The CLI can run through a global install, `npx -y @grimoirelabs/cli`, or the repo-local Bun command `bun run packages/cli/src/index.ts --`. The skill covers venue checks, RPC and signer diagnostics, wallet commands, and cross-chain options. Irreversible actions require `cast --dry-run` first, followed by explicit confirmation before a live `cast`.

Setup data may be written to `.grimoire/setup.env` as plaintext secret material, so keep that file local. Passwords and private keys must stay out of agent prompts and inline command assignments.

## When to use it
- author or edit a `.spell` file
- validate a spell and fix its warnings
- replay an advisory run by `runId`
- simulate a strategy on a chain
- check RPC, signer, or venue readiness

## Example prompts
- Create `spells/strategy.spell`, format it, and run `validate` on the result.
- Simulate this strategy on chain `1`, then prepare a safe dry run.
- Diagnose the `venue doctor` failure for the current adapter and suggest a fix.
