## What it does

The skill works in steps. It first pulls the product, platform, current situation and goal out of your message, then asks one follow-up question in multiple-choice form — shorthand answers like "1b 2c 3a" are fine. Analysis runs against the frameworks bundled in the skill, and the output starts with a summary of findings, includes specific data points and benchmarks, gives prioritized action items, and closes with next steps. Estimates built on incomplete data get flagged with ⚠️.

Covered ground: titles, descriptions, images and attributes in the feed, Google Merchant Center compliance and error resolution, choosing between Standard Shopping and Performance Max, bidding strategy, product segmentation into priority campaigns, ROAS work by product group, and negative keywords. Amazon, Shopify, WooCommerce, Walmart, TikTok Shop, Etsy, eBay and BigCommerce are listed as supported.

It pays off if you already run campaigns and know your numbers — without current ROAS, budget and a product list, the skill has to drag them out of you question by question. Install with `npx skills add nexscope-ai/eCommerce-Skills --skill google-shopping-optimization -a claude-code`; the skill file lands at `~/.claude/skills/google-shopping-optimization/SKILL.md`. - work through feed errors and see what got disapproved
- decide between Standard Shopping and Performance Max
- pick a bidding strategy that fits the current budget
- split products into priority groups and lift ROAS

## Example prompts
- Optimize my Google Shopping feed. I have 200 products on Shopify. Current ROAS is 3x, I want to hit 5x. Monthly budget: $5,000.
- Help me choose between Standard Shopping and Performance Max for my catalog.
- Build a negative keyword list for my Shopping campaign and sort products into priority groups.
