## What it does

The skill hands the agent working shadcn/ui patterns: install commands for each component, ready snippets for buttons, dialogs, toasts, tables, and Recharts charts. It ships a component table with commands like `npx shadcn@latest add button`, form examples wired to React Hook Form and Zod, and pointers to `references/` files on forms and charts.

shadcn/ui copies components into your project, so you own the code and can edit it. Styling and theming run on Tailwind CSS and CSS variables, while Radix UI primitives handle accessibility. Dark mode and custom themes are covered too.

The skill assumes a React project with Tailwind. Dropping shadcn/ui into an existing app means running `npx shadcn@latest init` and pulling in dependencies such as `tailwindcss-animate`, `class-variance-authority`, `clsx`, `tailwind-merge`, and `lucide-react` first. Skip that step and the add commands fail. The instructions cut off inside the examples section, so some advanced cases lean on the `references/` files.
