## What it does

The skill wraps the Flyworks (HiFly 飞影数字人) API in one Python script, `scripts/hifly_client.py`. Three jobs: build a video from text or audio on a ready-made public avatar, turn a single image into a talking photo, and clone a voice from an audio sample. The agent lists what is available with `list_public_avatars` and `list_public_voices`, then polls progress with `check_task --id "TASK_ID"`.

You need Python 3 and network access to `hfw-api.hifly.cc`. The skill runs on a default free-tier token, and that token stamps a watermark on every video and caps duration at 30 seconds. To lift both, register at hifly.cc or flyworks.ai, grab a key from user settings, and set `export HIFLY_API_TOKEN="your_token_here"`. If a clean frame or a longer clip matters for your use case, the free tier is not enough.

The agent follows built-in behaviour rules. Video generation needs text and a voice, so when you supply only text it checks local memory with `manage_memory list` and then asks which voice to use — a public one or a clone. Avatars and voices you create can be stored under an alias with `manage_memory add`, which saves hunting for IDs later. Handy when a series of clips should keep the same face and voice.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add freestylefly/canghe-skills --skill flyworks-avatar-video -a claude-code
```
```bash
npx skills add freestylefly/canghe-skills --skill flyworks-avatar-video-1.0.0 -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/flyworks-avatar-video-1.0.0/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/flyworks-avatar-video-1.0.0/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add freestylefly/canghe-skills --skill flyworks-avatar-video-1.0.0 -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/flyworks-avatar-video-1.0.0/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add freestylefly/canghe-skills --skill flyworks-avatar-video-1.0.0 -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/flyworks-avatar-video-1.0.0/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install freestylefly/canghe-skills flyworks-avatar-video-1.0.0
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/flyworks-avatar-video-1.0.0/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add freestylefly/canghe-skills --skill flyworks-avatar-video-1.0.0 -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/freestylefly/canghe-skills --path skills/flyworks-avatar-video-1.0.0
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/flyworks-avatar-video-1.0.0/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add freestylefly/canghe-skills --skill flyworks-avatar-video-1.0.0 -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/freestylefly/canghe-skills/tree/HEAD/skills/flyworks-avatar-video-1.0.0/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- turn one photo into a talking video
- voice a script with a public voice instead of recording your own
- clone a voice from an audio sample
- produce a series of clips with the same avatar and voice
- save avatar and voice IDs under readable aliases

## Example prompts
- Create a talking photo from user_photo.jpg saying "this is my AI twin" and pick a voice for me
- Generate a video with a public avatar using the text "Welcome to our service", choose a voice from the list
- Clone the voice from assets/voice.MP3 and save it as my_voice

# Avatar Video Generation Skill

This skill allows you to generate videos using Flyworks (a.k.a HiFly 飞影数字人) Digital Humans. Available features:
1. **Public Avatar Video**: Create video from text or audio using pre-made highly realistic avatars.
2. **Talking Photo**: Create a "talking photo" video from a single image and text/audio.
3. **Voice Cloning**: Clone a voice from an audio sample to use in TTS.

For detailed documentation, see the [references/](references/) folder:
- [authentication.md](references/authentication.md) - API token setup
- [avatars.md](references/avatars.md) - Working with avatars
- [voices.md](references/voices.md) - Voice selection and cloning
- [video-generation.md](references/video-generation.md) - Video creation workflow

## API Token & Limitations

This skill works with a default free-tier token, but it has limitations:
- **Watermark**: Generated videos will have a watermark.
- **Duration Limit**: Videos are limited to 30 seconds.

**To remove limitations:**
1.  Register at [hifly.cc](https://hifly.cc) or [flyworks.ai](https://flyworks.ai).
2. Get your API key from [User Settings](https://hifly.cc/setting).
3.  Set the environment variable: `export HIFLY_API_TOKEN="your_token_here"`

## Tools

### `scripts/hifly_client.py`

The main entry point for all operations.

#### Usage

```bash
# List available public avatars
python scripts/hifly_client.py list_public_avatars
# List available public voices
python scripts/hifly_client.py list_public_voices
# Create a video with a public avatar (TTS)
python scripts/hifly_client.py create_video --type tts --text "Hello world" --avatar "avatar_id_or_alias" --voice "voice_id_or_alias"
# Create a video with a public avatar (Audio URL or File)
