## What it does

This skill guides coding assistants through modern Riverpod architecture in Flutter. It prioritizes code generation with `@riverpod` annotations and `riverpod_generator`. For handling asynchronous operations, the model uses `AsyncNotifierProvider` instead of legacy approaches, keeping state transitions and mutations predictable.

Rebuild efficiency receives heavy attention. The instructions differentiate `ref.watch()`, `ref.read()`, `ref.select()`, and `ref.listen()`. Subscribing to providers inside `ListView.builder` items degrades performance, so the assistant extracts child elements into standalone `ConsumerWidget` classes.

Configuring Riverpod 3.x requires caution with tooling dependencies. Because `riverpod_lint` 3.x relies directly on `analyzer_plugin`, adding `custom_lint` to `pubspec.yaml` breaks dependency resolution on version 3.1.8 and above. The skill enforces correct package declarations for both legacy and current setups.
