## What it does

This skill guides coding agents through the FlowUs V2 API using the `flowus` binary. It handles document retrieval in Markdown, block modifications, and database lookups.

A preflight check runs before any network call. The agent inspects `flowus version` alongside `flowus --json doctor` and `flowus --json whoami` to verify active credentials. It asks for explicit user confirmation before downloading or updating the binary.

Saved browser OAuth sessions require write access to the credentials directory even for read requests. To prevent token leaks in shell history, configure the `FLOWUS_TOKEN` environment variable or use the manual login flow instead of command-line flags.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add next-space/flowus-skill --skill flowus-cli -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/flowus-cli/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/flowus-cli/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add next-space/flowus-skill --skill flowus-cli -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/flowus-cli/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add next-space/flowus-skill --skill flowus-cli -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/flowus-cli/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install next-space/flowus-skill flowus-cli
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**

```bash
npx skills add next-space/flowus-skill --skill flowus-cli -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/next-space/flowus-skill/tree/HEAD/skills/flowus-cli/SKILL.md
