## What it does

The skill takes your clip and changes whatever you describe in words. It pulls the first usable frame with a face, edits it through `gpt-image-2`, then carries that look across the whole video with `kling` reference-video, using the original clip as the identity anchor. Face, expressions, motion and the sound track survive the edit.

Under the hood it chains Pika MCP calls: `upload_asset`, `normalize_video`, `estimate_cost`, `generate_image_edit`, `generate_reference_video`, `edit_concat`, `extract_audio_from_video`, `edit_audio_replace`, `edit_lipsync`, `task_status`. Clips up to 15s are normalized as one 14.8s window; longer sources are split into ordered 14.8s windows, and a separate call pulls one continuous audio track for the merged result. The skill does not reframe: it uses the closest supported output ratio of the normalized clip.

\`estimate_cost` runs before any paid generation. If the host does not surface a price, the final report says `Cost not surfaced by this harness` — worth checking whether your MCP client returns cost at all. After the frame edit the skill stops and waits for your approval; no video generation happens without it. When `face_found` is false, no clear face was detected and the t=0 frame was used instead, so identity may drift — re-run with `start_s` at a section where the subject faces the camera.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add Pika-Labs/Pika-Plugins --skill fix-my-look -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/fix-my-look/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/fix-my-look/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add Pika-Labs/Pika-Plugins --skill fix-my-look -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/fix-my-look/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add Pika-Labs/Pika-Plugins --skill fix-my-look -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/fix-my-look/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install Pika-Labs/Pika-Plugins fix-my-look
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/fix-my-look/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add Pika-Labs/Pika-Plugins --skill fix-my-look -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/Pika-Labs/Pika-Plugins --path skills/fix-my-look
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/fix-my-look/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add Pika-Labs/Pika-Plugins --skill fix-my-look -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/Pika-Labs/Pika-Plugins/tree/HEAD/skills/fix-my-look/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- swap the background of a clip without reshooting
- change what someone is wearing from a text description
- move a scene to another location or time of day
- keep the face and voice intact while the setting changes
- stitch a long clip from segments that share one new look

## Example prompts
- /fix-my-look `~/Downloads/interview.mp4` — make it night with neon lights
- change the background of this video to a beach in Hawaii, keep the person
- put me in a leather jacket in this clip

  Change ANYTHING inside a video — background, scene, lighting, outfit, weather,
  mood — from a free-form prompt, while keeping the EXACT original facial
  identity, motion, speech, audio AND closest supported output ratio. Edits the
  first frame with gpt-image-2, then propagates that look across the clip with
  Kling reference-video using the original clip as the identity anchor.
  Triggers:
  "change anything in my video", "edit my video with a prompt", "change the

# fix-my-look

Edit the source's first usable frame with `gpt-image-2` from the user's prompt,
then propagate that look across the clip with `kling` reference-video while
locking the original face, motion and audio via the original video + audio as
references. All prep happens in one `normalize_video`
call for short clips, or one normalize call per segment for longer clips. The
output ratio uses the normalized clip's closest supported output ratio; this
skill does NOT reframe the source video.

## Inputs

- `<source>` — path or URL to a video file with audio
- `<change_prompt>` — what to change (e.g. "make it night with neon lights",
  "change my shirt to a leather jacket", "put me on a beach in Hawaii")

## Empty-args menu

1. "What's the source video path?"
2. "What do you want to change? (e.g. 'put me on a beach', 'make it night')"

## Workflow

Working dir: `~/Downloads/fix-my-look/<run-id>/`.

### Step 0 — Cost, timer and task IDs

Every tool named below is a Pika MCP tool, written by its bare name. Call it
under whatever prefix your session exposes for the Pika MCP.

Start a timer when the source and change prompt are known. Before paid
generation, call `estimate_cost` for the planned
`generate_image_edit`,
`generate_reference_video`, any multi-segment
`edit_concat`, and any optional audio/lipsync repair
call. If cost is not surfaced by the host, say
```
