## What it does

This skill equips coding agents to drive `firebase-tools` without guesswork. It handles repository bootstrapping with `firebase init`, configures targets, and manages project aliases via `firebase use` alongside `firebase.json` and `.firebaserc`.

Agents can run the Firebase Emulator Suite for isolated testing with disk persistence or execute targeted test suites against local emulators. It also handles scoped releases for Hosting, Cloud Functions, and security rules, including ephemeral preview channels.

Installing via npm requires Node.js 20+. If your task shifts to Gemini SDK integration or AI flow orchestration, delegate those workflows to `genkit` instead of this operator skill.
