## What it does

The skill gives your agent access to Binance public endpoints for fiat payments. It can look up which fiat and crypto currencies a country supports, which payment methods work for buy, sell, deposit and withdraw, what limits they carry, and what rate an exchange gets. Order and payment history sits behind authentication and lives in a separate set of endpoints.

Four calls do the work: `get_capabilities` by country code, `get_buy_and_sell_payment_methods`, `get_deposit_and_withdraw_payment_methods` and `get_price`. Requests go out as plain `curl` or through `WebFetch`, and every response is JSON with a `code` field where `000000` means success. The skill suggests starting with `get_capabilities` so you don't fire the other methods blind, though a simple rate question can skip that step.

Prices come back as indicative reference values and may differ from the execution price. If you plan to show a rate as final, that's a reason to check it on the exchange itself. Sorting depends on the operation: for a buy, the lower price wins; for a sell, the higher one. The skill also builds a Binance link that matches the user's language.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add binance/binance-skills-hub --skill fiat -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/fiat/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/fiat/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add binance/binance-skills-hub --skill fiat -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/fiat/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add binance/binance-skills-hub --skill fiat -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/fiat/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install binance/binance-skills-hub fiat
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/fiat/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add binance/binance-skills-hub --skill fiat -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/binance/binance-skills-hub --path skills/binance/fiat
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/fiat/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add binance/binance-skills-hub --skill fiat -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/binance/binance-skills-hub/tree/HEAD/skills/binance/fiat/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- check which fiat currencies a country supports
- pick a payment method for buying crypto and read its limits
- see whether a payment method is currently suspended
- compare buy and sell rates for a fiat-crypto pair
- find deposit options when the fiat wallet balance is too low

## Example prompts
- Which payment methods can I use to buy BTC with EUR in Germany?
- Show me the limits and rate for selling ETH for USD
- I want to buy crypto but my fiat wallet is empty — what deposit options do I have?

## Available APIs

### 1. get_capabilities

Query supported fiat currencies, cryptos, and business types for a country.

```bash
curl "https://www.binance.com/bapi/fiat/v1/public/fiatpayment/agent/get-capabilities?country={COUNTRY_CODE}"
```

Optional: `businessType` (BUY, SELL, DEPOSIT, WITHDRAW) to filter.

**Response:** `data.supportedBusinessTypes`, `data.fiatCurrencies[]` (with `code`, `name`, `supportedBusinessTypes`), `data.cryptoCurrencies[]`

### 2. get_buy_and_sell_payment_methods
