## What it does

The skill connects to Readwise Reader through MCP tools or the local `readwise` command-line utility. It pulls incoming feed documents and isolates unseen items where the opening timestamp is empty. When a local `reader_persona.md` document exists, the agent tailors article commentary directly to your interests.

On launch, you receive a digest table showing five top-priority picks with read times and short rationale. From there, you can request full summaries, open direct Reader links, or move items into `later`, `inbox`, or `archive`. You can also trigger an interactive browsing loop that surfaces unseen entries 20 at a time.

Execution stops immediately if neither the Readwise MCP server nor the `readwise` CLI is available in your environment.
