## What it does

This skill guides API development for support desks using Python 3.8+. It organizes routes by separating I/O-bound async handlers from CPU-bound sync functions. Pydantic handles request validation for support tickets, while dependency injection supplies database sessions across routes. Compatible databases include PostgreSQL, SQLite, MySQL, and MongoDB.

Database access relies on async SQLAlchemy sessions using the `asyncpg` driver, with automatic rollback on errors. Security workflows integrate JWT validation via `OAuth2PasswordBearer` to restrict endpoints to verified support staff. Asynchronous queries fail immediately if the underlying database connection string is malformed.
