## What it does

This skill enables virtual try-on workflows by routing apparel images to fal.ai hosted models. It targets ecommerce product visuals, styling experiments, and lookbook production. The agent detects the task through triggers like `virtual tryon`, `fal tryon`, or `ecommerce styling`.

The OpenDesign entry supplies discovery metadata so the agent plans tasks around the capability. Activating original scripts, assets, and workflow references requires the upstream repository bundle from `https://github.com/fal-ai-community/skills`.

Without installing the upstream bundle from `fal-ai-community/skills`, the agent only registers the skill description during planning without local execution scripts.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add nexu-io/open-design --skill fal-tryon -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/fal-tryon/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/fal-tryon/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add nexu-io/open-design --skill fal-tryon -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/fal-tryon/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add nexu-io/open-design --skill fal-tryon -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/fal-tryon/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install nexu-io/open-design fal-tryon
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/fal-tryon/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add nexu-io/open-design --skill fal-tryon -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/nexu-io/open-design --path skills/fal-tryon
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/fal-tryon/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add nexu-io/open-design --skill fal-tryon -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**

## When to use it
- render clothes on person images using hosted models
- generate lookbook visuals for fashion catalogs
- produce styled clothing images for ecommerce listings
- test apparel combinations for styling experiments

## Example prompts

## How to use

This catalogue entry advertises the skill in OpenDesign so the agent
discovers it during planning. To run the full upstream workflow with
its original assets, scripts, and references, install the upstream
bundle into your active agent's skills directory:

```bash
# Inspect the upstream README for exact paths
open https://github.com/fal-ai-community/skills
```

Then ask the agent to invoke this skill by name (`fal-tryon`) or with
one of the trigger phrases listed in this skill's frontmatter.
