## What it does

The skill gives the agent a reference for Express.js work: app setup, routing, route parameters and query strings, `express.Router` modules, and middleware at both app and router level. Built-in middleware such as `express.json()` and `express.urlencoded()` are covered alongside third-party packages `helmet`, `cors`, `morgan` and `compression`, plus custom handler functions.

Examples are plain JavaScript: a basic server, configuration through `app.set`, static files, JWT-based auth middleware, request validation. The skill is tied to the `/expressjs/express` library in Context7, so the agent can pull current docs instead of reciting syntax from memory.

Error handling and deployment get a mention but no worked examples — the source cuts off mid-way through a validation function. If you need ready-made recipes for deployment or error logging, you will be writing those yourself.
