## What it does

The skill activates when a project has a `uiBundles/*/src/` directory and the task involves deploying to an org or setting the org up after deploy. Step order is load-bearing here: each step's output is the next step's precondition. The GraphQL schema is fetched after deploy and after permissions, because objects, fields and permission sets only appear in the org once the deploy lands.

It starts with org auth (`sf org login web --alias <org>`), then builds every bundle (`npm install`, `npm run build`) so `dist/` exists before the metadata deploy. From there: `sf project deploy start --source-dir <sourceRoot> --target-org <org>`, permission-set and role assignment, Experience Cloud self-registration, social login / SSO / IDP linking through Auth Providers and SAML, site logout URL, seed-data import, and GraphQL schema fetch with codegen. Every optional step is presence-driven: no `org-setup.config.json` or `data-plan.json` means that step is skipped. For self-registration and data import the skill asks before running.

It expects `jq` 1.6 or newer, `node` 18.0.0 or newer, `npm` 7.0.0 or newer and `sf` 2.0.0 or newer, with a minimum API version of 66.0. The source root is resolved from `sfdx-project.json` by a script rather than hardcoding `force-app/main/default`. Run `sf project deploy start` without `--source-dir` on an org that has no source-tracking and it aborts asking you to name files or a manifest — worth passing the path every time.

## Requirements
- Works with: Salesforce

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill experience-ui-bundle-deploy -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/experience-ui-bundle-deploy/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/experience-ui-bundle-deploy/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill experience-ui-bundle-deploy -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/experience-ui-bundle-deploy/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill experience-ui-bundle-deploy -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/experience-ui-bundle-deploy/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install forcedotcom/sf-skills experience-ui-bundle-deploy
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/experience-ui-bundle-deploy/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill experience-ui-bundle-deploy -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/forcedotcom/sf-skills --path skills/experience-ui-bundle-deploy
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/experience-ui-bundle-deploy/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill experience-ui-bundle-deploy -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

## When to use it
- deploy a UI bundle to a Salesforce org without skipping steps
- build `dist/` before the metadata deploy
- assign permission sets and roles after deploy
- set up self-registration and SSO linking on an Experience site
- fetch the GraphQL schema and run codegen after deploy

## Example prompts
- Deploy the UI bundle to the org and run the org setup steps from `org-setup.config.json`
- Configure social login and the logout URL for the Experience site after deploy
- Import seed data from `data-plan.json` and pull the GraphQL schema with codegen

# Deploying a UI Bundle App

Deploy order is load-bearing: a step's output is the next step's precondition
(deploy before schema fetch; permissions before schema fetch; role/self-reg
before the schema the guest user must see). This is the canonical setup sequence,
ported from the reference `org-setup.mjs`. The `org-setup.mjs` line
