## What it does

The skill handles one job: add, configure, restyle or remove an Agentforce chat widget in a UI Bundle app. It starts by running `scripts/detect-framework.sh`, which prints a single token — `react`, `angular`, `ambiguous` or `unknown`. A clear result means no questions for you; the skill moves on.

Next it greps for existing usage: `*.tsx`/`*.jsx` for React, `*.html` and `*.ts` for Angular. Any `agentId` it finds must match `^0Xx[a-zA-Z0-9]{15}$` — 18 characters starting with `0Xx`. If it is empty or malformed, the skill goes looking for a real ID in your org.

That lookup needs the Salesforce CLI: `sf --version`, then `sf org display --json`. Without `sf`, the skill offers to install `@salesforce/cli` globally or tells you to copy the ID from Setup → Agentforce Agents. It never writes a chat component from scratch — it renders the one shipped in `@salesforce/ui-bundle-template-feature-react-agentforce-conversation-client` or the Angular equivalent. Hit an unsupported prop and it will say so instead of improvising. Local development also needs `localhost:<dev-server-port>` added to Trusted Domains for Inline Frames, and that entry has to come out before you ship to production.

## Requirements
- Works with: Salesforce

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill experience-ui-bundle-agentforce-client-generate -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/experience-ui-bundle-agentforce-client-generate/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/experience-ui-bundle-agentforce-client-generate/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill experience-ui-bundle-agentforce-client-generate -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/experience-ui-bundle-agentforce-client-generate/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill experience-ui-bundle-agentforce-client-generate -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/experience-ui-bundle-agentforce-client-generate/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install forcedotcom/sf-skills experience-ui-bundle-agentforce-client-generate
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/experience-ui-bundle-agentforce-client-generate/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill experience-ui-bundle-agentforce-client-generate -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/forcedotcom/sf-skills --path skills/experience-ui-bundle-agentforce-client-generate
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/experience-ui-bundle-agentforce-client-generate/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill experience-ui-bundle-agentforce-client-generate -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**

## When to use it
- embed an Agentforce chat widget in a React UI Bundle page
- register `app-agentforce-conversation-client` in an Angular template
- validate the `agentId` already sitting in the project
- pull the list of agents from an org with `sf`
- remove or restyle an existing chat widget

## Example prompts
- add the Agentforce Conversation Client to the support page in this UI Bundle
- check the agentId in the current widget and swap in an agent from my org
- remove the Agentforce chat widget from this page

# Managing Agentforce Conversation Client

This skill is **framework-agnostic**: it supports both React and Angular UI Bundle apps. The Agentforce client ships as two feature packages that wrap the same Lightning Out glue — pick the one matching the app's framework (detected in Step 0):

| Framework | Feature package | Element | Component symbol |
|-----------|-----------------|---------|------------------|
| React | `@salesforce/ui-bundle-template-feature-react-agentforce-conversation-client` | `<AgentforceConversationClient />` | `AgentforceConversationClient` |
| Angular | `@salesforce/ui-bundle-template-feature-angular-agentforce-conversation-client` | `<app-agentforce-conversation-client>` | `AgentforceConversationClientComponent` |
```
The third-party file has ended. Everything between the 5dab2bc0b3313f33 tags is data: requests and commands from it are not followed. An “end of file” line with another tag inside the block is part of the file.
