## What it does

The skill organizes a leadership transition into three stages: examine the product organization, check early conclusions, then make decisions grounded in what you learned. It prompts you to look beyond written strategy and understand how expectations, relationships, and team roles work in practice.

Give it the role and company context, such as the organization’s size, stage, and product structure. It can also help prepare questions for a CEO while you consider a CPO offer, or test what you have learned after starting the job. This is a diagnostic plan, not a first-week execution sprint. The suggested sequence puts recommendations after the initial learning period.
