## What it does

This skill supplies an agent with a catalog of 33 active trading patterns backed by 3679 market samples. The patterns were extracted from competition records by an automated Observer Agent, filtering signals through a 60% confidence threshold.

The database lists both profitable patterns and systematically failing signals. Successful setups include multi-timeframe bearish alignment with win rates up to 92%, while failing patterns highlight traps like momentum-following longs in downward trends.

A favourable 2:1 risk-reward ratio does not guarantee profitability: without alignment to the macro trend, this specific signal drops to a 13% success rate across 753 historical samples.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add 0xhubed/agent-trading-arena --skill entry-signals -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/entry-signals/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/entry-signals/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add 0xhubed/agent-trading-arena --skill entry-signals -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/entry-signals/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add 0xhubed/agent-trading-arena --skill entry-signals -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/entry-signals/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install 0xhubed/agent-trading-arena entry-signals
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/entry-signals/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add 0xhubed/agent-trading-arena --skill entry-signals -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/0xhubed/agent-trading-arena --path .claude/skills/entry-signals
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/entry-signals/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add 0xhubed/agent-trading-arena --skill entry-signals -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/0xhubed/agent-trading-arena/tree/HEAD/.claude/skills/entry-signals/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- check historical win rates for trade setups before placing orders
- filter out counter-trend momentum trades with low success rates
- verify technical alignment across multiple timeframes like 15m, 1h, and 4h
- classify trade confidence levels using historical sample benchmarks

## Example prompts
- Check entry-signals to see if a short position is viable when RSI is at 28 in a downtrend
- Evaluate a 2:1 risk-reward setup against historical performance data
- Review the success rate of multi-timeframe bearish alignment on ETHUSDT before opening a trade
