## What it does

The skill inspects `package.json`, the lockfile, runtime, and project structure before helping with an Elysia v2 backend. It covers schema validation, hooks, plugins, typed clients, OpenAPI, WebSockets, tests, migration work, and deployment.

Its references cover the core API, lifecycle, composition, errors, project structure, Eden, databases, and runtimes. For a new project, it advises Bun with `t` schemas. Testing includes the affected route and its rejection path, along with the project’s type check.

Node work needs `@elysia/node` and Node 22.18 or newer, while WebSockets need `elysia/websocket`. Check the runtime and package versions before a migration because the skill targets Elysia v2 and does not treat an upgrade as automatic.

## When to use it
- build a TypeScript backend with Elysia v2
- test a route and its rejection path
- define request data with `t` schemas
- add a plugin or typed client
- migrate an Elysia v1 project to v2

## Example prompts
- Inspect `src/app.ts` and `package.json`, find the Elysia v2 route issues, and add tests for a valid request and a rejected request.
- Build a new Elysia backend on Bun with `t` schemas, an Eden typed client, and tests in `test/app.test.ts`.
- Migrate this Elysia v1 route to v2, keep the current package versions, and run `bun test` plus the project type check.
