## What it does

The `ecommerce` skill is the entry point to Bria's product pipeline. It renders nothing on its own — the actual work sits in the `bria-ai` skill, and this one points you at the right scripts and sections. Worth installing if you already use Bria or plan to; otherwise you get a thin wrapper.

Inside `bria-ai` there is `build_catalog.py`: feed it a folder of photos and it returns a cutout, a packshot, a dimensions image and lifestyle scenes per product. Marketplace output comes from `export_variants.py` plus presets for Amazon, Shopify and Etsy, which fix background, aspect ratio, product fill and minimum resolution. Each product can also get a `listing.json` holding an SEO title, description, bullets and tags.

Separate endpoints cover cutout, packshot, shadow, lifestyle shot from text or an image, product integrate, and Amazon-style dimension images with `cm / in` callouts, weight and capacity. Resize, crop and composite for the variant exporter are handled by the `image-utils` skill on Pillow — without it the variant step will not run.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add Bria-AI/bria-skill --skill ecommerce -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/ecommerce/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/ecommerce/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add Bria-AI/bria-skill --skill ecommerce -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/ecommerce/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add Bria-AI/bria-skill --skill ecommerce -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/ecommerce/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install Bria-AI/bria-skill ecommerce
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/ecommerce/SKILL.md`

gemini skills install https://github.com/Bria-AI/bria-skill --path skills/ecommerce
```
### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)
**Manually: put the files in place**
```bash
npx skills add Bria-AI/bria-skill --skill ecommerce -a opencode
```
## When to use it
- build packshots from a folder of raw product photos
- cut products off their backgrounds in batch
- produce a dimensions image with cm and inch callouts
- match image specs for Amazon, Shopify and Etsy listings
- generate a lifestyle scene from a text prompt
## Example prompts
- Build a catalog from the `photos/raw` folder: cutouts, packshots and dimension images for every product
- Export Amazon and Etsy listing variants from the finished packshots
- Create a lifestyle scene for this product on a wooden table
# Bria E-commerce — Product Catalog Builder
The full e-commerce product-catalog pipeline now lives in the **bria-ai** skill, alongside all other Bria image capabilities (generation, editing, background removal, upscaling, and more). This keeps one place to authenticate and one set of helpers to maintain.
**Use the `bria-ai` skill for all product-catalog work.** It contains:
- **Batch catalog pipeline** — `build_catalog.py`: a folder of raw product photos → per-product cutout, packshot, dimensions image, lifestyle scenes, and marketplace variants.
- **Marketplace variants** — `export_variants.py` + Marketplace Presets: Amazon / Shopify / Etsy specs (background, aspect ratio, product fill, min resolution).
- **Product endpoints** — cutout, packshot, shadow, lifestyle shot (by text or image), product integrate, and Amazon-style product dimensions images (with dual `cm / in` callouts, weight, and capacity).
- **Listing copy scaffold** — a `listing.json` per product for SEO title, description, bullets, and tags.
See the **bria-ai** skill's "Product Catalog Pipeline (batch)" section and its [API Endpoints Reference](../bria-ai/references/api-endpoints.md) for full details.
