## What it does

The skill walks through returns in steps. It first pulls the product, platform, current situation and goal out of your message. Then it asks one follow-up question as a multiple-choice list, and shorthand answers like "1b 2c 3a" are fine. After that comes the analysis and a prioritized action list.

Inside are return-rate benchmarks by category, return reason analysis, return cost calculation (shipping, restocking, loss), reverse logistics design, and listing fixes such as size guides, photos and descriptions. There is a separate block on keeping the customer after a return. Supported platforms: Amazon, Shopify, WooCommerce, Walmart, TikTok Shop, Etsy, eBay and BigCommerce.

Estimates built on incomplete data get flagged with a warning marker, so you can see where a conclusion rests on facts and where it is a rough call. Install it through `npx skills add`, since the skill lives in the `nexscope-ai/eCommerce-Skills` repository rather than a plugin marketplace. GitHub Copilot uses a different command, `gh skill install`.

## When to use it
- find out why the return rate sits above the category average
- work out what each return costs once shipping and restocking are counted
- rewrite the returns policy without driving customers away
- map reverse logistics from parcel drop-off to refund
- add size guides and photos to a listing so fewer items come back

## Example prompts
- My return rate is 22% on Amazon, clothing category. Industry average is 15-20%. Analyze why and tell me what to cut.
- Design a reverse logistics flow for Shopify, from return request to refund.
- Calculate the return cost for my product: shipping both ways, restocking, loss.
