## What it does

The skill scans the OKX earn listings on a schedule and compares rates against thresholds you set in the config. When something matches, you get an alert through Telegram, Lark, or the agent session itself. From there it can guide the subscription steps, provided `okx-cex-earn` is installed.

The scan itself runs in `scripts/scan.sh` — shell plus `jq`, no model calls. That is why a crontab schedule costs no tokens. Settings live in `~/.okx/earn-hunter/config.json`, dedup state in `state.json`, and the scheduler plus notification channel in `platform.json`.

Before the first run you need the `okx` CLI from the npm package `@okx_ai/okx-trade-cli`, `jq` on the machine, and authorization — either an API key or OAuth login. Without it the skill stops and asks you to sign in. On a platform with no scheduler there are no automatic checks, so you trigger scans by hand.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add okx/agent-skills --skill earn-hunter -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/earn-hunter/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/earn-hunter/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add okx/agent-skills --skill earn-hunter -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/earn-hunter/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add okx/agent-skills --skill earn-hunter -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/earn-hunter/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install okx/agent-skills earn-hunter
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/earn-hunter/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add okx/agent-skills --skill earn-hunter -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/okx/agent-skills --path skills/earn-hunter
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/earn-hunter/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add okx/agent-skills --skill earn-hunter -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/okx/agent-skills/tree/HEAD/skills/earn-hunter/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- catch a profitable Flash Earn offer the moment it appears
- compare Fixed and Flexible Earn rates against your own threshold
- get pinged when Flexible Earn APY moves instead of checking manually
- avoid subscribing twice to the same offer
- run listing checks on a schedule without spending tokens

## Example prompts
- run earn-hunter and tell me if anything good is live
- set up Telegram alerts when Flexible Earn APY goes above my threshold
- do an earn-hunter scan and show me what matched

# Earn Hunter

Automated monitor for OKX Flash Earn, Fixed Earn, and Flexible Earn (Simple Earn) opportunities.

**`{baseDir}`** = the directory containing this SKILL.md file. All relative paths (references/, templates/, config/) are resolved from here.

## Preflight

1. Verify `okx` CLI installed: `which okx`. If missing, install via `npm install -g @okx_ai/okx-trade-cli`.
   On OpenClaw, also verify the in-session `cron` tool is available in the agent tool list (used for scheduling — not the `openclaw` CLI).
2. Check optional dependent skills:
   ```bash
   okx skill list --json
   ```
   Optional skills (not required for scanning/notifications):
   - `okx-cex-earn` — needed for purchase guide (subscription execution)
   - `okx-cex-auth` — needed for authentication recovery

   If either is missing, attempt to install but **do not block** if installation fails:
   ```bash
   okx skill add okx-cex-earn
   okx skill add okx-cex-auth
   ```
   - Install succeeds → continue
   - Install fails (network error, marketplace unavailable, etc.) → **warn and continue**:
     "⚠ `{skill_name}` 安装失败，扫描和通知功能不受影响。申购引导和认证恢复需要该 skill，后续可手动安装。"
   - Preflight continues regardless of skill installation result
4. Auth mode detection — run **both**, first match wins:
   - `okx config show --json` → has non-empty `api_key` field → **API Key mode**. Add `--profile live` to all commands.
   - No API key + `okx auth status --json` → `"status":"logged_in"` → **OAuth mode**. No `--profile` flag needed.
   - Neither → **stop**. Load `okx-cex-auth` skill and follow login steps.
5. Init config and state:
   - If `~/.okx/earn-hunter/` directory does not exist → `mkdir -p ~/.okx/earn-hunter`
   - If `~/.okx/earn-hunter/config.json` does not exist → copy `{baseDir}/config/default.json` to it
   - If `~/.okx/earn-hunter/state.json` does not exist → write `{"flash":{},"fixed":{},"flexible":{},"consecutive_failures":0,"last_error":""}`
   - If `~/.okx/earn-hunter/platform.json` does not exist → run [Platform Detection](#platform-detection-active-probe--user-confirmation)
