## What it does

The skill handles conversion across `pdf`, `docx`, `pptx`, `xlsx`, `txt`, `csv`, `md` and `html`. It also pulls tables and spreadsheet-style grids into editable output, and runs basic PDF operations: merge, split, rotate, watermark, page extraction. Filling simple templates and forms is covered too.

A set of scripts does the work. Single documents go through `scripts/convert.py`, whole folders through `scripts/batch_convert.py`. Focused jobs have their own tools: `scripts/pdf_toolkit.py`, `scripts/table_extractor.py`, `scripts/form_filler.py`. Before starting, the skill asks which format you are coming from, which one you want, and whether editability or layout fidelity matters more.

Output is best-effort by design. Layout, images, OCR text and advanced formatting can drop out, and the skill says so up front. A scanned PDF is treated as an OCR problem rather than a conversion one. On large sheets or documents, safety caps are raised step by step instead of processing everything at once.
