## What it does

The skill fires when you ask the agent for a model, an endpoint, a serializer, or help with a slow query. It works in steps: read the request and the project context first, load the matching reference file, then write code that follows Django practice.

References live in `references/`. `models-and-orm.md` covers fields, relations and migrations. `views-and-urls.md` covers FBV versus CBV. `drf-guidelines.md` handles serializers and viewsets. `performance-optimization.md` is about `select_related()` and `prefetch_related()`. There is also `security-checklist.md` for CSRF and XSS, `testing-strategies.md` for fixtures and factories, and `production-deployment.md` for `DEBUG`, `SECRET_KEY`, `ALLOWED_HOSTS`, HTTPS and caching.

One catch: this assumes a Django project already exists. On FastAPI or Flask the ORM and DRF references will just mislead the agent, so check the fit before installing.
