## What it does

This skill translates system descriptions into text-based diagram code. It covers flowcharts, sequence diagrams, ER schemas, UML class structures, state machines, and Gantt timelines. Supported output formats include Mermaid, PlantUML, ASCII, and D2, with options for layout direction and themes like forest or dark.

Output comes as raw code blocks inside Markdown. The skill cannot render PNG or raster images directly. You will need an external preview tool, such as Mermaid Live Editor or an IDE extension, to view the graphic output.

The author recommends claude-sonnet-4 or claude-opus-4 models, while claude-3-5-sonnet, gpt-4, and gpt-4o are marked compatible.
