## What it does

The skill ships a checklist of Trust Services Criteria: common security criteria CC1 through CC9, plus availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy. Each item lists the evidence an auditor typically asks for — code of conduct, IAM credential reports, MFA and TLS configurations, SIEM alert rules, disaster recovery plans.

A second table ties controls to tools. For CC6.1 that means IAM credential reports and Access Analyzer findings in AWS, sign-in logs and Conditional Access in Azure, repository permissions and branch protection in GitHub, MFA enrollment reports in Okta. For monitoring it points at CloudWatch, Azure Monitor or Cloud Monitoring dashboards, Datadog, New Relic and Grafana alerts, and SIEM tools such as Splunk, Elastic and Sentinel.

Use it when you are preparing for an audit, mapping controls you already have, or wiring evidence collection into CI/CD. One caveat: the checklist describes what to show an auditor, but the evidence itself comes from your infrastructure. If logging and monitoring are not set up, the mapping table stays empty.

## Requirements
- Works with: AWS

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add BagelHole/DevOps-Security-Agent-Skills --skill soc2-compliance -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/soc2-compliance/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/soc2-compliance/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add BagelHole/DevOps-Security-Agent-Skills --skill soc2-compliance -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/soc2-compliance/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add BagelHole/DevOps-Security-Agent-Skills --skill soc2-compliance -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/soc2-compliance/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install BagelHole/DevOps-Security-Agent-Skills soc2-compliance
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/soc2-compliance/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add BagelHole/DevOps-Security-Agent-Skills --skill soc2-compliance -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/BagelHole/DevOps-Security-Agent-Skills --path compliance/frameworks/soc2-compliance
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/soc2-compliance/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add BagelHole/DevOps-Security-Agent-Skills --skill soc2-compliance -a opencode
```

## When to use it
- map existing controls to Trust Services Criteria
- collect evidence for auditor requests
- build continuous compliance monitoring into CI/CD
- check control coverage when onboarding a new service
- prepare for a SOC 2 Type I or Type II audit

## Example prompts
- Walk through the SOC 2 checklist and tell me what evidence is missing for CC6.
- Map our AWS and GitHub settings to CC6.1 and show the gaps.
- What do we need to collect for availability criterion A1 before a Type II audit?
