## What it does

The skill directs an agent through an evidence-backed industry audit. It scores competitive rivalry, entry threats, substitute solutions, buyer leverage, and supplier dominance. Each force receives a weak, moderate, or strong grade tied to verified market signals. Modern shifts are accounted for directly: AI tools are reviewed as potential substitutes, while cloud and foundation model providers are tracked under supplier power.

An investigation follows a defined routine. The agent drafts a targeted search outline, pulls facts from regulatory filings and industry publications, and outputs a standardized report. The summary zeroes in on where industry profit concentrates and how that pressure impacts your strategic decision.

Brand-new categories without established participants break this framework because dynamic forces have not settled yet. Fabricating market shares or financial metrics is explicitly barred, so unconfirmed details are marked as assumptions for follow-up testing.
