# dcf-model-builder

## What it does

For a regular DCF build, the skill runs `scripts/build_banker_formula_workbook.py`. Its main output is `banker_formula_workbook.xlsx`, starting with a `Cover` tab for the issuer, valuation, assumptions, and warnings. The run also creates a log, citation file, and manifest.

A deterministic export path handles bounded calculations and lightweight support runs. It takes a `plan.json`, which the skill checks with `python3 scripts/validate_plan.py path/to/plan.json`. Placeholder inputs, stale figures, or weak analyst estimates cap the result at `screen-grade`. Standalone workbook audits belong to the separate `model-audit-tieout` skill.
