## What it does

The skill covers Lakebase Autoscaling through the `databricks postgres` CLI. It guides project and branch management, compute scaling, PostgreSQL connections, and use of the Data API. It also covers syncing Unity Catalog tables into Postgres and integrating Lakebase with Databricks Apps.

You need Databricks CLI version `0.294.0` or later. For CLI basics, authentication, and profile selection, the skill points to `databricks-core`. It recommends checking CLI help before running commands, rather than guessing their syntax. Lakebase commands use the `postgres` group, so instructions written for the retired Provisioned tier may not apply.
