## What it does

The skill calls `fetch_news.py` from `news-aggregator-skill`, gathers items from a chosen source or matching keywords, and writes a script to `podcast_script.md`. The script uses a labelled dialogue where one host asks questions and the other gives concise answers.

It sends each dialogue line to `tts.py` separately, saves temporary `line_*.wav` files, then joins them with `ffmpeg` into `podcast_output.wav`. The agent also returns the Markdown script, the final audio path, and a short list of included headlines.

\`news-aggregator-skill`, `tts`, `python3`, and `ffmpeg` must be present before it runs because this skill coordinates their scripts. That is a reason to inspect those dependencies: they handle the network calls. Reference-audio voices through the noiz backend require `NOIZ_API_KEY`; guest voices work without that key.
