Lets your agent read Coralogix infrastructure resources through the cx infra CLI: resource types, health, raw documents and config changes.

## What it does

Every command sits under `cx infra resources` and is read-only. The agent picks the right one: `types` lists category-type pairs, `filters` shows which attributes you can filter on and what values they accept, `list` returns matching resources with their health policies. Then come `health-history`, `raw-data`, `config-changes` and `config-diff`.

Run `filters` before `list`. Attribute names and values differ per type, so guessing gets you nowhere — a wrong attribute is refused with the accepted ones listed. Exact values are case-sensitive (`OS=linux`, not `OS=Linux`); wildcards are not. `--match-all` and `--match-any` are ANDed together, and each attribute goes in one flag only.

Id-based commands take up to 100 ids per call, so pass them all at once rather than one by one. Over 100 and the CLI refuses; split into batches. An id belongs to a single team, which is why those commands reject more than one `-p`. If infrastructure monitoring is not enabled for the team, the skill tells you to stop instead of retrying with different filters — there is no data to find.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add coralogix/cx-cli --skill cx-infra -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/cx-infra/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/cx-infra/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add coralogix/cx-cli --skill cx-infra -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/cx-infra/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add coralogix/cx-cli --skill cx-infra -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/cx-infra/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install coralogix/cx-cli cx-infra
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/cx-infra/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add coralogix/cx-cli --skill cx-infra -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/coralogix/cx-cli --path skills/cx-infra
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/cx-infra/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add coralogix/cx-cli --skill cx-infra -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

## When to use it
- find resources by name, service or environment
- see which health policy is failing and why a resource is critical
- pull daily health history for a resource
- fetch the raw resource document now or at a past timestamp
- check what changed in a config before an incident

## Example prompts
- show resource types
- find critical hosts in region eu-west-1
- what changed in this resource's config in the last 24 hours

# Infrastructure Resources

All commands live under `cx infra resources` and are read-only. Run
`cx infra resources <command> --help` for flags.

"Infrastructure monitoring is not enabled for this team" means the team has no
infrastructure data. Stop and say so. Do not retry or change filters.

A stderr line starting `warning: ... could not verify that infrastructure
monitoring is enabled` is informational: the enablement check itself failed and
the command still ran.

| Command          | Answers                                                        |
|------------------|----------------------------------------------------------------|
| `types`          | which `(category, type)` pairs exist                           |
| `filters` | which attributes can be filtered on, and their accepted values |
| `list` | which resources match, with their health policies |
| `health-history` | daily health per resource, oldest first |
| `raw-data` | the raw resource document, now or at a past time |
| `config-changes` | which resources changed configuration in a window              |
| `config-diff`    | what changed, field by field                                   |

## Resource ids

- Take them from `list` (`resource_id`) and pass them as-is, quoted.
- `health-history`, `config-changes` and `config-diff` take up to 100 ids per
  call. Pass them all in one call, not one call each. Over 100, the CLI refuses.
  Split into batches.
- An id belongs to one team, so the id commands refuse more than one `-p`.
  Only `types`, `filters` and `list` fan out across profiles. From a
  multi-profile `list`, use the row's `profile` to pick the one to query.
- Ids mean nothing outside this skill. To reach other skills, use the resource
  `name` or its `Service` value.

## Finding resources

1. `filters` first. Attribute names and values differ per type, so never guess.
