## What it does

ctx-insight calls the `ctx_insight` MCP tool without parameters. The tool opens the hosted Insight dashboard at `https://context-mode.com/insight` and returns a confirmation line for the agent to display.

Insight provides per-engineer productivity data, retry waste tracking, blocker detection, and views narrowed by role. The landing page also contains sign-in and pricing details. If the browser does not open automatically, open the URL manually.

The skill is available for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI, and OpenCode. It relies on the `ctx_insight` MCP tool and the default browser.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add mksglu/context-mode --skill ctx-insight -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/ctx-insight/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/ctx-insight/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add mksglu/context-mode --skill ctx-insight -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/ctx-insight/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add mksglu/context-mode --skill ctx-insight -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/ctx-insight/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install mksglu/context-mode ctx-insight
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/ctx-insight/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

npx skills add mksglu/context-mode --skill ctx-insight -a opencode
```
