# creator-registry

Keeps a canonical creator roster: rates, rights, exclusivity, compliance events and performance baselines. Useful when you need to know what you paid a creator last time.

## What it does

The skill stores creator facts in an append-only event stream at `memory/events/creators.ndjson`. Every entry carries an event ID, offset, source, date and authorization flag. The `scripts/registry-events.py` script reads current state with `get creators <aggregate-id>`, and writes go through `owner-append`. It does not compute a STAR score or judge compliance — sibling skills handle that.

Ordinary producer facts arrive as pending `propose` events with `proposed_operation` and `expected_revision`. Only a host-capability `creator-registry` principal can accept or reject them. A stale revision cannot be forced through; re-read and reconcile it instead. If host capability is unavailable, the work stays pending.

The skill asks before the first persistent event. Personal data is minimized: a stable aggregate ID plus the facts the collaboration needs, with raw email, phone and address kept out of events. In a standalone one-folder install without the root runtime, schema and catalog, it can only prepare proposals and cannot claim canonical creator truth. That is worth checking before you rely on it — point `AARON_SKILLS_ROOT` at the full repository.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill creator-registry -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/creator-registry/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/creator-registry/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill creator-registry -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/creator-registry/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill creator-registry -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/creator-registry/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills creator-registry
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/creator-registry/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill creator-registry -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --path protocol/creator-registry
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/creator-registry/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill creator-registry -a opencode
```

## When to use it
- find out what rate a creator was paid last time
- dedupe handles using verified cross-links
- accept or reject pending creator proposals
- record rights, exclusivity and compliance events with source and date
- regenerate the human-readable creator view from accepted projection

## Example prompts
- What rate, rights and exclusivity facts are current for creator-7f42?
- Accept or reject the pending creator proposals for creator-7f42.
- Record the closed spring campaign rate and performance baseline with source and date.

# Creator Registry

The canonical creator-roster authority. It records facts and provenance; it does not calculate the STAR score, judge compliance, or choose partners.

## Quick Start

```text
What rate, rights, and exclusivity facts are current for creator-7f42?
Accept or reject the pending creator proposals for creator-7f42.
Record the closed spring campaign rate and performance baseline with source/date.
```

## Skill Contract

**Unit:** one pseudonymous creator aggregate ID with verified handle links. **Reads:** `memory/events/creators.ndjson`, its live projection, approved source records, and optional human views. **Writes:** canonical creator events via `scripts/registry-events.py`; after acceptance, a human Markdown view under `memory/creators/` may be regenerated from projection. **Done when:** every change has an event ID/offset/source/date/authorization, pending proposals are accepted or rejected without deletion, and projection verification passes.
