## What it does

This skill takes a TPM org from bare state to a running TPE dashboard in one guided session. Everything runs through the `sf` CLI plus REST or anonymous Apex against an org you already authenticated. It never asks for a password and never logs in on your behalf.

Twelve phases sit inside: tenant pairing, the TPM Admin and GenieAdmin/TableauEinsteinAdmin permission sets, the `ssot` package check, Tableau Next enablement, the C360 Unified Semantic Model install, business-period export, the `TPM_PROMOTION_MEASURE` Data Transform, and the TPE Analytics app install. Three steps are handed off to sibling skills — the Data Kit, the RTR Data Cloud export, and custom KPI work. Bundled scripts handle REST calls, async status polling, Apex template rendering, and Data Transform runs.

You need `node` 20.0.0 or newer and `sf` 2.0.0 or newer, and the org has to be on Consumer Goods Cloud 262.2 or later. Some steps cannot be verified programmatically, so Hyperforce Processing Service pairing and Tableau Next enablement are confirmed by hand. A dry-run mode runs every read and check while skipping all writes and installs. The TPE Analytics install is async and takes roughly 15-20 minutes, so a poll timeout is not a failure.

## Requirements
- Works with: Tableau

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill consumer-goods-tpe-dashboard-configure -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/consumer-goods-tpe-dashboard-configure/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/consumer-goods-tpe-dashboard-configure/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill consumer-goods-tpe-dashboard-configure -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/consumer-goods-tpe-dashboard-configure/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill consumer-goods-tpe-dashboard-configure -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/consumer-goods-tpe-dashboard-configure/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install forcedotcom/sf-skills consumer-goods-tpe-dashboard-configure
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/consumer-goods-tpe-dashboard-configure/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill consumer-goods-tpe-dashboard-configure -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/forcedotcom/sf-skills --path skills/consumer-goods-tpe-dashboard-configure
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/consumer-goods-tpe-dashboard-configure/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill consumer-goods-tpe-dashboard-configure -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/forcedotcom/sf-skills/tree/HEAD/skills/consumer-goods-tpe-dashboard-configure/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- walk a TPM org through every TPE setup step without digging through docs
- confirm the `ssot` package and permission sets before installing analytics
- trigger the `TPM_PROMOTION_MEASURE` Data Transform and wait for it to finish
- export business periods via anonymous Apex and confirm the Data Stream sync
- run all checks in dry-run without touching a production org

## Example prompts
- set up TPE dashboards for my TPM org, start with the tenant pairing check
- run consumer-goods-tpe-dashboard-configure in dry-run and show what gets skipped
- detect the namespace and version-gate the org before phase one

# Consumer Goods TPE Dashboard Configure

Bring a TPM org from bare state to a running TPE dashboard in one guided session, driven entirely by `sf` CLI + REST/anonymous-Apex against an already-authenticated org — never a password or interactive login on the user's behalf.

Persona: a **Salesforce TPM System Admin** setting up TPE dashboards for their org.

Delegates three of its twelve steps to standalone sibling skills (own `SKILL.md`, own inputs, self-contained per this repo's skills architecture rules — no shared files):

- Step 7 → `consumer-goods-tpe-datakit-deploy`
- Step 9 → `consumer-goods-rtr-datacloud-export-configure`
- Step 12 → `consumer-goods-tpe-dashboard-custom-kpi-configure` (optional, only if the customer wants custom KPIs on the base dashboards)

Every other step runs directly in this skill.
