# consort

consort coordinates spec review and test-driven build cycles for Lakebase-paired projects. Use it to guide feature work through explicit gates and experiments.

## What it does

consort routes work through a design phase and a build phase. The design process drafts and reviews a feature spec, then prepares a test list; `/design` and `/build` invoke those stages. Human decisions pause the workflow at its gates.

During build work, tests stay unchanged unless the test list is renegotiated, and experiments belong to a story-specific branch. The accepted experiment is merged with its migrations into the feature branch. Tests run against a real Lakebase database on a paired branch, so this workflow depends on that database setup.
