# configurator

Walks you through a CCA auction parameter form: network, token, timing, pricing. Useful when you need a deploy-ready config without filling fields by hand.

## What it does

The skill runs an interactive flow for Continuous Clearing Auction contracts and collects parameters in batches. Questions come four at a time, so you are not answering one field per round. Answers go into a configuration object, each batch gets validated, and the skill shows what is collected and what is still missing.

Validation is the core of it. Ethereum addresses must match `^0x[a-fA-F0-9]{40}$`, chain IDs come from the supported list (1, 130, 1301, 8453, 42161, 11155111), numeric values must be non-negative. Inputs containing whitespace or shell metacharacters such as `;`, `|`, `&`, `$` and backticks are rejected outright, because those values reach a `curl` command — `$(...)` and a stray space are injection, not formatting. On a failed check the skill reports which value and which character broke it instead of continuing.

Interactive prompts rely on `AskUserQuestion`. In a runtime that lacks it, the skill falls back to plain conversation and gathers the same fields as text. The resulting config is later read by the `deployer` skill, which interpolates its fields into `forge` and `cast` commands. So an unvalidated value here turns into an injected command there. That is the reason the validation step is not optional.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add Uniswap/uniswap-ai --skill configurator -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/configurator/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/configurator/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add Uniswap/uniswap-ai --skill configurator -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/configurator/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add Uniswap/uniswap-ai --skill configurator -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/configurator/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install Uniswap/uniswap-ai configurator
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/configurator/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add Uniswap/uniswap-ai --skill configurator -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/Uniswap/uniswap-ai --path packages/plugins/uniswap-cca/skills/configurator
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/configurator/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add Uniswap/uniswap-ai --skill configurator -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/Uniswap/uniswap-ai/tree/HEAD/packages/plugins/uniswap-cca/skills/configurator/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- collect CCA auction parameters into one config
- convert auction duration into blocks for a given network
- compute the Q96 floor price across differing decimals
- reject an address or number that would break `curl`
- generate a supply schedule without the full setup

## Example prompts
- Configure a CCA auction on Base, token not deployed yet, 100 million tokens
- Set up a continuous auction config with a 12 hour prebid period
- Generate the supply schedule only for the CCA

# CCA Configuration

Configure Continuous Clearing Auction (CCA) smart contract parameters for fair and transparent token distribution.

> **Runtime Compatibility:** This skill uses `AskUserQuestion` for interactive prompts. If `AskUserQuestion` is not available in your runtime, collect the same parameters through natural language conversation instead.

## Instructions for Claude Code

When the user invokes this skill, guide them through a **bulk interactive form configuration flow** using AskUserQuestion. Collect parameters in batches to minimize user interaction rounds.

### Bulk Interactive Form Rules

1. **Batch questions** - Ask up to 4 questions at once using a single AskUserQuestion call
2. **Allow direct input** - For fields requiring custom values (addresses, numbers):
   - Provide a "Not available yet" or "Skip for now" option
   - The "Other" option (automatically provided) allows direct custom input
   - **NEVER** ask "Do you have X?" as a separate question
3. **Store answers** - Keep track of all collected values in a configuration object
4. **Validate after collection** - After each batch, validate all inputs before proceeding
5. **Show progress** - After each batch, show which parameters are collected and which remain

### Input Validation Rules
