## What it does

The skill breaks down competitors' influencer partnerships. You get their creator roster, a campaign and content-strategy breakdown, performance estimates and a list of gaps worth claiming. It runs in Claude, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI and OpenCode.

Eight steps sit behind it: define the competitive set, build partnership rosters, analyze campaigns, review content strategy, estimate performance, generate a side-by-side comparison, then rank opportunities. Every factual row keeps its source, observation date and window. Creator identity in saved output goes through `creator_ref` rather than raw handles.

Here is the catch. Without dated records, public posts or live connector results, the skill returns `NEEDS_INPUT` with a collection plan instead of inventing a roster. Reach and spend estimates appear only when a formula and input references are declared. For news on rivals there is `gdelt.py`; for watching partner channels, `youtube.py` (needs a free `YOUTUBE_API_KEY`) or a keyless RSS feed. Worth checking whether you can supply the data before installing.

The report comes back inline by default. Saving to `memory/influencer/competitor-tracker/` needs separate authorization.

```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill competitor-tracker -a codex
```
