## What it does

The skill runs structured competitor research using Porter's analysis framework and positioning matrices. It produces markdown reports covering executive summaries, company profiles, feature breakdowns, and pricing tiers. When the `office-mcp` server is configured, it exports assets via `create_docx`, `create_xlsx`, and `create_chart`.

Users begin by naming their product, target rivals, market segment, and geographic scope. You can request quick feature matrices, full company profiles, strategic SWOT reviews, or sales battle cards. The skill specifies `en` and `zh`.

Because it relies on public information, it cannot view internal competitor data or proprietary market research. It also does not track price adjustments in real time. If your workflow demands continuous surveillance or confidential telemetry, this skill will fall short.
