## What it does

The skill fires when you ask your agent about building or running an online community. It ships a set of rule files under `rules/`, grouped by topic: strategy, platform choice, onboarding, engagement, user-generated content, ambassador programs, metrics, moderation and DevRel. The agent pulls the file that matches your question.

Several frameworks come ready to use. The Community Flywheel maps the attract → activate → engage → advocate loop. A maturity model splits communities into four stages, from founder-led to self-sustaining. There is also the 1-9-90 rule, a member journey from lurker to ambassador, and a breakdown of how a community differs from an audience. A comparison table covers Discord, Slack, Circle, Discourse, GitHub Discussions and Reddit, each with its strengths and weak spots.

The practical side lists engagement program types — office hours, show & tell, AMAs, challenges, conferences — plus a set of anti-patterns: assuming people will show up on their own, chasing vanity metrics, scaling before engagement holds, skipping moderation. Nothing here runs code or needs an API key; it is a text knowledge base your agent reads. Worth adding if you already run a Discord or Slack server and want onboarding and programs to follow a plan instead of being reinvented each time.

## Requirements
- Works with: Slack
