## What it does

The skill analyzes markup, meta tags, and indexing signals for the provided URL. Standard fetch utilities skip the document `<head>`, so this skill retrieves the raw HTML through `curl` via Bash to extract `title`, Open Graph meta tags, canonical links, and `application/ld+json` schemas.

Basic audits require no accounts: the assistant reads public code, parses `sitemap.xml`, and scans web results. When the Cogny gateway (`https://app.cogny.com/mcp`) is declared inside `.mcp.json`, the audit swaps estimated data for direct queries, impressions, and index status from Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, Semrush, and Ahrefs.

Without the Cogny server connected, the skill limits its report to what is visible in raw HTTP responses and standard search indices.
